Our commitment to sustainability

Nature tourism depends on a healthy, balanced and beautiful environment, making preservation essential. However, our dedication goes beyond the professional: we preserve because we love nature. Conservation is not just an obligation of our work, but a fundamental value that guides our lives.
When we talk about the environment, we don't just mean nature, but the integration of all the elements: the local population, their history and culture.

Our sustainable practices

  • We encourage the use of reusable bottles and containers to store water and snacks;

  • We collect garbage found on the trails and dispose of it properly;

  • Whenever possible, we look for carpooling options to reduce the need for vehicles and the use of fossil fuels when traveling.

Conservation and Protection of Nature

  •  We support and publicize clean-up actions, such as those carried out by Eco Paerve in the Rio Vermelho State Park and Lagoa da Conceição.

  •  We guide and explain to those taking part in our activities how to behave appropriately when encountering wildlife: observe without interfering.

Positive impact on local communities

  • Our activities always include a contextualization of the territory visited: the people who lived there, the local community, its history and culture.

  •  We try to establish partnerships and introduce local entrepreneurs to food, handicrafts and souvenirs, parking and other services.

Environmental Awareness and Education

  • At the beginning of the activity, the participants are always given instructions on how to behave appropriately in the environment they are visiting: not to interact with the fauna; not to damage or uproot plants; not to open new trails; not to leave garbage, including seeds and peels.

  •  Each conservation unit and ecosystem visited is presented and guidance is given on its importance.

  •  We explain about the invasive exotic species found on the trails, their damage to native species and the eradication program.

  •  We encourage an integral connection with nature, stimulating the use of all the senses.
